Default Any tips for cage builder?

Cars being delivered to cage builder in the next week or so. He's done over a few hundred cages but mostly in bimmers and Porsches. He's an extremely capable mechanic and cage builder just not familiar with s2000. Anything specific to our cars that I should have him do?

not an s2000 specific thing, but i'd want some sort of protection down low in the cage protecting my feet from the drivers wheel intruding in to the cabin.

Nascar bars on driver side. Affix window net mounts if needed.

If he has done a few hundred I'm sure he knows this, but make sure the seat is mounted where you want it before starting on the cage. If you plan on changing seats in the next few seasons I'd go ahead and do it now.

A-pillars and the entire wind shield frame - gut them out and build the cage into it. You might also consider the same for the transmission tunnel. Essentially, follow the driving ambition s2k cage build for rylan's (krazik) car

I didn't mean no footwell braces I meant to say have the box made so it does not protrude.

From rob's cage

You basically want it flush so it doesn't hit your leg or ankle
