Default Anyone have remote oil pressure setup?

I am current using a sandwich plate but I went to change the sensor cause it was broken and I noticed the plate can turn with a bit of a tug.

I have been thinking of removing it and using a oil line to distribution block from the Oem oil pressure sensor

What does everyone use?

I use the OEM pressure sensor location with the appropriate adapter and an aftermarket 100psi switch that I wired to my EMS. The OEM pressure sensor is useless so removing it is no big loss.

I am using the PTUNING oil distribution block, and I like it. It lets me maintain the OEM low pressure switch and add an oil temp and oil pressure sender.

tut,

did you have to extend the wire for the stock sensor?

also how many hoses did it come with? i thought we just need the one hose that goes to the oil distribution block but i also see a return line as well.

No need to extend the wire. The oil flows through the block and then back into the motor so it comes with two hoses. That is the only way to get a good oil temp reading. I can get some pics if you want.

Yep.

Will be doing away with it in lieu of a mechanical gauge very soon.

Tut

Pics would be great. I guess it makes sense that oil should flow through.

Nissan

your idea is pretty close to what I want to do Can you elaborate on your fittings and hose? I am having a hard time finding which ones I need

Parts list from http://www.mcmaster.com/#

Ensure that you use the BSPT end in the head port. From my reading, if you force a standard NPT fitting in, the head will crack over time. Not much recovering from that; drill a hole to stop the spread...??

Didn't you have to find a female bspt fitting for the stock sensor
