I'm tempted to try these on my team's BMW E36 truck LeMons car. We could save enough to buy a 5th as a spare tire for the race.

I think the RS3s are cheaper still, as they're on clearance.

They are but the difference is down to about $15 for a set

We run 16" currently so no RS3 options. The pickings are slim in the 225/50/16 and a little better in the 225/45/16. The ZIISS in 225/50/16 is actually at the top of my list currently since we are doing CMP and it destroys tires.

A friend let me to drive his supercharged 350z when he brought it to the track and told me it had nexen tires I was scared!
Anyways he swears they are good and yea jumped in and right away had good grip and was able to corner about as fast as the S2k.
If I didn't know what I was on I would believe it was a DZII RS3 RE171R or any other decent street tire

Bump!! Any reviews?
In 265/35/18 sizes these are considerably less expensive than anything else (re71,rs3, etc...)

This tire is really good for the money. Nfera. Tom Thang put in a good word.

Bumping this, just bought a set for my rears today, I'll have some impressions in a week when they're mounted. I am mixing them with Rivals, but I had too much tread left on the front to justify buying all 4 corners. I figure if I'm going to have more grip anywhere, I'd want it in the rear anyway.

I have a set sitting here waiting to go on to replace a set of 255/40-17 RE71Rs. I'd heard they run wide, but I didn't realize HOW wide.

Food for thought:
My 255/40-17 RE71R measures 10" wide. The Sur4 measures 10.5" wide. I'm somewhat worried since I have 17x9 +63 all around and it has cleared so far just fine with unmolested fenders.... and I am L-O-W (12.25"/12" center to fender) This could make it interesting.
Also, $575 shipped for a set of four 255/40-17.

Good to know - glad I got 245s. I'm on stock suspension anyway though.
