Default Anyone using lexan on their S2000?

I am interested in replacing my OEM window glass (at the very least the side windows and possibly the front windshield as well) with lexan. I know of several Evo owners who use this product, but no S2000 owners. I am curious to know if any of you have it, and if so what thickness are you using? I am thinking about ordering some lexan from the following manufacturer:

Merry Christmas!

You need 1/4" for a windshield and you need 2 reinforcing bars to support the center. Check the rulebook it is covered and it's not something you can do willy-nilly. Keep in mind that you can't run wipers over lexan without scratching it to hell. In SD you're probably wondering what wipers are but if you care you're better off with glass.

Thanks for your input!

I have been reviewing the NHRA rule book and so far I've only found reference to a 1/8" minimum thickness requirement. My S2000 is becoming a pretty much drag-only car. Until I purchase a truck and trailer, I will be driving it to drag racing events, but that is pretty much the only time it will be on public roads. I will more than likely remove the factory windshield wipers.

At a bare minimum I will be replacing the glass side windows.

You should probably say that when making a post. Otherwise most people are going to assume SCCA/NASA rules apply.

Yeah. Point is still valid, you can do what the rules say you can so let them be your guide.

Thumbs up

How would you go about cutting the Lexan to fit the desired measurements without making it look crappy?

Thanks.

That will be up to my stereo shop to decide.
