Matt, I think we ended up running the next solid size up from 1.25" solid bar. Don't remember the exact size though.

No Moton's or Penske's. The Penske's are on a car in Philly now.

Currently just have the Bilstein's that came with the car.

Awe crap, I already ordered the 1.25" hollow bar. Is that too small?

Jason, what happened to the XP car?
Matt,

It is getting a new cage and suspension bits that may not be complete in time. I hope to have it complete, but need to have a contingency plan in place.

With your smooth driving style, you would likely be able to run a 1.25" solid bar. I did with very little inside wheel spin.

for b-stock and for some in str thats too soft. You want the 1.25 solid bar on full stiff or the 1.375 bar on one of the middle settings. Talk to marc about it.

FWIW, the 1.25 hollow bar was way too much for my STR car on stiff or even one off stiff.

I think I'll give it a go and if it's no good, I'll order the other middle section.

With an AP1 in stock class prep, its nice to have options. Seems the AP1s kept going stiffer and stiffer on the sway bars considering the soft front spring rates. I run the 1.375 set at 50% (3/6) on the CR, so in general, an AP1 will need to be higher for a similar effect.

Matt, I'm sure the 1.25 will be fine to start with. Sounds like a good plan! For future reference, daverx7 has all the info on changing out the center section.

See you at Dixie!

-Marc

Get those front arm mounts welded before you pull them out.

Awe Matt, it took a couple years to tear them. I'll put it off until I move back to civilization.
