ive been running a 2.5 duct setup for a few track days now and examined my rotors to find cracking on the ouside rotor half only. The inside looked perfect so i think we will all eventualy expose the clearance between the dust cover and the rotor to be too great a gap. if you guys with mfg in mind also produced a duct to route the airflow into the rotor vents better at the hub replaceing the dust cover this would be a big help to us and a big seller for you.

This is awesome!..

Great work guys, we should have a little contest.. i'll chime in and play... i gotta make some ducts as well...

lets just see how well, how far we can push the bar.. its good cheap garage fun...

maybe some 18g 4" mild steel with 300 pie cuts with 1 foot on each end of duct tubing.. (jk)

I'm still working on getting a few sets made. Looks like I will be doing them in carbon fiber, as the cost difference vs fiberglass is minimal. I am also working on simple spindle mounted brackets, to position the duct nozzle closer to rotor center. It will be better for guys that want to remove the dust shields, or for the guys that run a bbk.

What about mounting them to the bumper? How do you envision handling that?

Sorry I dont have a picture but you can use most similar sized prefab ducts such as this one

https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...p?Product=3624

what you do is trim the bumper slip an oversize duct over the bumper hole - trim to fit better and use 3m auto grade adhesive to attach it. The problem with using one that is fitted is there is odd airflow transition angles that will create buffeting on the ap2 faux ducts - it's almost better to use round or bumper corner mounted napa ducts instead of this - or place these in the grill area to capture much more airflow.
