Default AP2 tire size

I have an 04 S2000 and am buying new tires (Direzza Star Specs) in the spring for autocross. I will be putting the new tires on the stock rims to remain in the stock class. Will 245/45 17" tires work on my car?

I will be putting 225/45s up front. I know most guys run 255/40s on the rear but the car already understeers too much in my opinion. I would also like the 2mph gain in second gear by going to a larger diameter rear tire. The only problems I could see would be possible ABS issues or the tires rubbing the fender. Does anyone else run 245/45 17" rear tires?

215/45/17 and 255/40/17 is the stock CR sizing.

225/45/17 and 255/40/17 is a pretty decent setup (what I have currently), I'd be really surprised if you see much difference with 255/45 though. If you're on stock suspension you won't rub with that on stock offset wheels.

I'm sure you've seen this, but helps when visualizing as well as measuring tire sizes.
