AST 4100 Dampers
Not ASTs but my custom lenth JRZ triples are 10.5" from the bolt hole center to the top of the shock body. This allows me to run at 12.25" from hub center to fender or 3.25" from ground to jack points. At this height I have plenty of shock travel for even the bigger bumps on the street.
Say hello to my little friend!

Relevience- I also think the AST bodies should be shorter off the shelf for people that want to run really low and still have bump travel for driving on the street. Just my input.

Yes, my AST 4100 aluminum bodies are 11.5" long in the rear. The car is very low, but I don't think I hit bump stops except at Grattan (get tires off the ground in a couple of spots..). Granted, if they could be made an extra 0.5-1" shorter that would for sure clear up the issue no matter how low somebody wanted to run their car.
