I'm not there, but I heard (unofficially) that BS at the end of Saturday is currently Fagundes, followed by O'Boyle, Goeke, and Paul Stubbs in the M Roadster in 4th. 2nd and 3rd are reportedly very close.

Edit- I forgot Schotz- I think he's up in the top 4 somewhere but I don't know exactly where.

Banannie posted on another board that Mitch took the B Stock win. Everyone who disagreed with my pre-event prognostications, pay up.

In other news, Uyeda, presumably in his Boxster S, outran the previously untouchable McHugh. Of course, McHugh is 710-less, which may have something to do with it.

Yup, from what Ron said it was Mitch over Joe by less than a tenth. Apparently Joe had a blown shock on Saturday and threw maybe Sean's? spare set on for Sunday.

Sounds like Jason Uyeda in his Hoosier-shod Boxster S got a rerun and laid down a smoker to take the win over Scott in AS. I think it was a handful of other Corvettes then James G-W in another Boxster S, so it doesn't sound like any AS S2Ks had a good showing.

And Ron took the win in my old Type R on Victos over Hernandez in the Hoosier shod BMW Ron & I codrove with Jerry Lamb last year. Maybe I shouldn't have sold that car....

Results have been posted: http://www.scca.com/_Filelibrary/File/atwaterpro2.pdf

Fagundes over Goeke by 0.081 seconds.

O'Boyle over Elder for fourth by 0.037 seconds.

No S2000s listed in A Stock -- I guess they're saving it for the Tour. Mitch and Joe would have both been midpack in the amazingly tight AS field (half a second between first and sixth).

Goeke ran on Sean's old Bilsteins (Sean now runs Penskes)- I think just in the front.
Jason drove extremely well and deserved the AS victory. The Boxster S looked pretty hooked up. I'm very curious to see what a well-prepped 04 S2000 could do compared to a Boxster S, a C4 and an Evo 8.
In STS, Kevin McCormick caught and past me on his last run by a total of .112! That guy is a big thorn on my side, but it's all good competition.
There was a lot of ebb and flow today and it was all very exciting to watch unfold. In SM2, Andy McKee,s diff grenaded in his purple/blk 93 RX-7 but then fixed it. Not sure how that may have affected his driving.

That was a fun weekend.

On Saturday I was ahead of Joe (barely) - only to find out later that he had blown one of his front shocks. Since I am *selling* a set of the Billsteins and had them on site I offered them to him. He graciously accepted. Joe is one of the nicest guys in solo2 - he would have done the same for me.

On Sunday I was handed my A55... I didn't improve. I downright *freaked* being in the front row. It's different. You pull from the grid into the staging area and there isn't anyone in front of you. And the clock is already at 14... And then *blam!* you did 4 aweful runs and you're done.

-Sean

PS - Anyone want to buy a set of Billstein PSS Assembiles? They were good for 1st, 2nd, and 5th at the pro. Oh, and they're assemblies, so you just pop them in (no spring compressing.)

Second that- Joe is 100% genuinely nice. I'd lend him my water bottles any time

Peter

PS: Let's all hear it for Sean's codriver Tom Grote- definitely in the running with Joe for Nicest Autoxer of the Year. He's been having a tough year from the driver's seat but little did we know he was just sandbagging for those last two runs on Sunday!

Joe has the hardest time with shocks. He had the same thing happen with his Audi in Wendover last year. On the Audi he said it didn't really effect how fast the car would go, just how easy it was to go that fast. I guess the S2000 is another story.

Will Joe get the shocks fixed for this coming weekend or will he be using some borrowed Bilstein's again?

Are water bottles legal in stock class.
