Default Autocrossing with no swaybars

Rear swaybar endlink broke again, despite 10 lbs of duct tape, chewing gum and bailing wire, and I couldn't take the push anymore, so I unhooked the front. but fun nevertheless. Recommendations: stock front bar with no rear bar, or go back to Saner/stock? Gotta make a decision in the next half hour

Saner/stock.
But you said the rear stock endlink is broken, so how will you do this?
I just bought another pair of adjustable endlinks, so you could borrow my stock endlink for Thill.

Temporary fix: reinstall one stock front endlink and use the adjustable for the rear. Semi-permanent fix: I have a stock rear endlink on order.

Any thoughts on what caused a rear end link to break? I've never heard of one failing from autocrossing before (much less 2 times), and I thought I'd seen pretty much everything that will break from auto-xing an S2000.

Thanks,
Steve

My best guess is that I sheared the plastic by not using the allen wrench when removing the endlink nut. The other potential cause was hitting the curbing dead-on at Streets of Willow at 100+. The noise from that impact is what prompted me to inspect the rear for problems.

So how did it go? What did you end up doing? What have you had that broke while autocrossing an S2000?

The event was cancelled due to 60mph winds and 25* windchill. I was all set to go with an in-the-heated-motorhome job and plenty of warm clothing. Wusses, all of them. As we speak, the car still has no swaybars attached. I'll just wait until I get the stock endlink back.

If you were asking how it handled without swaybars, please don't make me recall that nightmare. It didn't matter how far ahead I looked or how smooth I was. The weight transferred almost immediately as soon as I turned the wheel. Extreme turn-in understeer, mid-corner oversteer and wheel spin. The worst of all 3 worlds. Obviously this should not be a surprise to anyone.

Hmmm... I think Andy McKee autocrossed his (my?) car like that a couple times like that with some success. But then he's almost a deity behind the wheel of a car.

If I recall, he did not recommend that setup.

I think once on Koni's and once on the Penskes. So no, not stock shocks. And neither time was intentional.
