I would love to run a Braille, but it won't work with my set-up.

Dan...along those lines I was thinking about buying the post conversions and then attaching the standard SAE terminals to the conversion kit. They would sit sideways instead of up and down. I also just put a message into Odyssey for tech assistance as they have a # of batteries with the same M6 stud connection and may be able to make a suggestion.

Why not just cut off the OEM ends and replace them with a proper sized Lug for the battery you need?

That is my last resort. My only thought on why I wouldnt want to do that is if I had to convert back to an OEM battery. Would that process not be too difficult?

If you wanted to, there are two wire harness you would need to replace for that factory OEM finish. but you can also repalce the OEM battery lug with an aftermarket one. I did not my street car to support the audio install.

Thanks. That's what Odyssey recommended. They suggested I go to a battery store and have them make me harnesses that have ring terminals and swapping out the whole harness. That way I have the OEM should I want to go back to stock

Light and very reasonably priced. Note the uncanning resemblance of the Braille equivalent models.
Sorry to Hijack Ryan.... It's a question to racing minds.

The Deka same size as braille, odessey and buddy club ????

Thanks!

I believe DEKA makes Braille batteries if I'm not mistaken.

Both make great batteries. I would have gone with the Braille if it would have fit my needs.

I have one more idea. What about buying the 6mm stud to top post conversion connectors that have male ends right now and having a machine shop make it into a female?

Basically, make the connectors transvestites.

Do you think that would work?
