Default BBK = no ABS?

Is it true that upgrading to a BBK in the front eliminates ABS? ( Brembo or stoptech brands to name a few)

Absolutely untrue. Our StopTech BBK's integrate seamlessly with ABS, EBD, etc.

Go punch in the head the person who told you that. ABS works just fine....as for FR/RR brake bias...that's another story.

Do you really care? Considering all the occurrences of ppl finding their cars in the middle of the street, I just leave it in gear when I park...

I dont think they will be affected if you only replace the front brakes.

I can count the occurances on one hand, and still have some fingers left over. How many occurances on a S2000 have you seen? You make it seem likes it is extremely common.

"I dont' think" ? Of course it won't affect the parking brake if you only do the fronts.

I'd still want the e-brake so I could drift around street corners in school zones

abs is a function of the abs modulator, spindles, wheel speed sensors and electronics. It has nothing to do with callipers and rotors.

Me? None. But after observing someone touching a hot stove scream and run around, I don't feel the need to get some personal experience. I'm pretty sure I can guess the result.

There've been a few threads on the subject. Often or not, do you really want to chance it? Leaving it in gear has no undesirable side effects(that I'm aware of) and it's more secure.
