the ducts are just the diy like the rob robinette site shows for the fronts.
im at 13 days on the kit , i've used about 4.5mm of pad depth. still original rings. some micro checking/cracking. i will see how much longer they'll go before i change rotors.
i've ordered up a set of replacements with aerovanes in the meantime. if you shop around you can get the pair shipped for like 420-450ish with hardware.
i am fine with the brakes, they're noisy on the street for sure. on track once hot i find they only make noise if you're doing weight transfer/ speed check kind of braking. heavy brake zones seem to make no noise.
i do make a point of a good cooldown lap with additional driving in the paddock area for additional cooling when getting off track. not sure if that helps with prolonging life or not.

from what i understand, the c43 kit now ships with aerovane rotors for anything new shipped from stoptech.

thanks for reply. I have sets of the complete pillar vane rotors so I use them up before I get the new sets. I will see if the extra set I bought can be replaced with the aerovane rotors.

Question: did you just cut enough of the brake dust shield to keep the flanges on for the brake hose? Or does the dust shield come off completely? If you have a pic or two that would be great. I will search Robs post.

when everyone refers to the ST-40 kit, are you referring to the 355mm or 328mm rotors, they sell a kit with both.

328mm. most people are running 17" wheels.

The 355mm kit requires 18" wheels to fit.
