Default BBK for track

Hi,
help me to decide.
Brembo: more expensive but no fitting issue with 7.5x8 48 OZ superleggera
AP Racing: less expensive than Brembo, ET problem
Wilwood: I spend more money but I should have front and rear update, probably ET problem
Stoptech: I read that it is considered a good compromise between quality and cost... I see that there different caliper option, which is the best?

thanks

I'm surprised you don't have a brembo fitment issue with 7.5 48.

for stoptech, you have 2 caliper options. the trophy series is "better" and costs about $700 more.

About Brembo, I know it for sure... cause a friend of mine had it on is s2000, no spacer required. Why Trophy is better and cost more?

There's really no quality diff between the brembo and the stoptech. The stoptech is no more of a compromise between price and quality than the brembo.

As far as wheel fitment, any bbk is a bit of a PITA.

I have the stoptech kit and three different sets of wheels. Info on this forum indicated that 2 of 3 wheels would clear the stoptech without a spacer... none did.

the best one is the one that costs the most... ;-)
kidding aside, I've had a good experience with the stoptechs. Skip the trophy kit. There is no real advantage to those calipers other than the fact that the paint wont darken due to the heat.

+1 for the Stoptech's...

For the price, they can't be beat. Replacement pads are really easy to find, since it is a common Porsche caliper pad shape. The customer service is outstanding. Being based in the USA, it is quick, easy and cost effective to purchase replacement parts, if needed. I'm running Pagid RS-29's (Yellow's) with mine right now, and it is hands down the best track pad I've ever used. I kick myself for not upgrading to this BBK sooner, having wasted so much time and money going through Carbotech XP pads every other track day, cracking oem rotors, etc.

As for wheel fitment, I am running them on a set of staggered Prodrive GC-07C's. Fronts are 7.5 +48. Clears perfectly, but I added a 1mm shim just for a little bit of extra room for peace of mind.

I have the Pagid RS-19 with the stoptech kit and the pads last forever.

The biggest problem with wheel fitment and the bbk is if you want to run a square wheel/tire setup there aren't many options.

Customer service is not a plus for me cause I live in Italy (Brembo would be better choice), but saving money is a plus. :-)
Do you have any problem with fender?
As I Know these wheels are not available any more and replaced by an other model.

I read that stoptech has a rear kit too.
Would it be a good upgrade for balance between front and rear?
So Trophy couldn't value that money, performace are quite similar.
