Yes - from the UTH FAQ ( https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=108435 ) :

The key thing is to route the air to the *eye* of the rotor, not the face (I think they got it wrong in the first link -- but you get the idea).

Here are a few pics. The links posted in this thread will probably get you what you are looking for.

I would recommend 2-1/2" ducting over the 3" that I used. It takes up less space and is easier to route. Mine actually goes to the rotor "eye" even though it doesn't look that way in the pics.

I was looking at the metal shield and it appears that Honda designed a bit of venting to include a raised scoop. Is this something new on the MY04, or are all years the same design.
I'm interested in venting / cooling. The last event I did was at Pahrump, NV where there was a whole lotta breaking going on. My front calipers got so hot that the 900 degree rated caliper paint turned black in the thin spots.

I've been to track days like that too. What a bummer!

Any of you drivers considered installing a fan? I was watching Rousche Racing the other day and noted that their trucks have brake fans. I suppose that those fans are used for pit stops.
One time, in band camp, we were given the red flag after driving very hard. My brakes were smoking, and I noticed that all the cars in front of me had smoking brakes. Perhaps a collective fan to cool both the fronts and another fan for the rears might be a good idea.

Breaking... Braking. Tomato... Tomatoe. I can't spell.
Word?

... One more thing.
By "Rotor Eye", do you mean the center, or right at the caliper?

And how often does that happen? Not really worth it, IMO.

My thought is that if a light-weight fan could be installed to help cool the brakes, then that would be a bonus. But you're right. I've only sat still in one red flag in 6, or so, track events.
I definitely would like to explore the crafting of ducting brakes after my last track event at Pahrump, NV. Lots of braking. And with Cobalts on all four corners, the temps were smokin' hot.
I think that the best design for brake ducting would include an on-off flow regulator... like a "plug" for street / daily drive braking and open full for track.
