Default Bridgestone RE-01R

It was just pointed out to me that these killer tires are on special right now. For an AP1 set that's $478 before shipping direct from Tire Rack.

AP1 sizes:
205/55VR16
225/50VR16

AP2:
215/45ZR17 (are not on special)
245/40ZR17

Hopefully that helps someone.

Yeah, I noticed that in their magazine ad. It says the price is good until September 24th. I have to pick up a new set of rears for my AP1, they only lasted ~6,000 miles with 1 track day and 15 autocrosses. Awesome tires. Highly recommended.

6000 miles? You must have a crazy alignment or be a drift king. My rear re01r's are somewhere around 6-8k miles right now with probably 15-20 autocrosses and don't have a whole lot left in them, but with the autocross season ending soon and winter coming on I think I might be able to get another 2-4k out of them. They would have lasted even longer, but I waited a long time to get the car aligned after I bought it (and installed the tires) and found out that the rear toe was a bit off causing most of the excessive rear tire wear. LOVE these tires though, may go ahead and order another set of rears.

I just bought these and paid about $800 out the door for my AP2. Went will 225s up front and 255s in the rear. These tires have twice the grip of the RE050s I had before. I highly recommend people to take advantage of these tires! I wish the s2000 had a street tire class to play in because these feel very similar to the grip of my old victoracers!

They seemed very predictable on your car. I was able to go from my car on V710s to yours on the RE01Rs with a 1.5-2.0 second difference on a 35+ second course with your car completely stock and mine fully prepped for AS. I thought that was convincing enough. I took the car out on some backroads and did a write up about the tires on our local forum if you car to take a look.
