Default Buttonwillow Jan. 25th

For those out there like myself, and delayed (or lazy ) signing up for Saturday's event, here is your second chance. Need a count of 70 to make Sunday's event reality.

Per Aaron's email:

Hi, If you are receiving this email, you are signed up for Buttonwillow on the 24th. (This event is happening for sure!).

We have tentatively booked Sunday the 25th as well. We will run Sunday 25th if we get 70 people signed up. Once we get 70, we will charge cards and let you know the day is happening. Otherwise, we will not charge cards. The early-bird price for Sunday is $170. We will run 13CW, just like Saturday.

If you would like to run on the 25th AND the 24th, please email us ASAP and let us know. You will get $20 off for Sunday ($170-$20=$150 additional). There is no additional transponder charge as usual.

IF YOU WANT TO SWITCH from the 24th to the 25th (no additional charge), please let us know ASAP and we will switch you only when the event is confirmed and is definitely happening. You will not lose your spot on the 24th until we confirm the Sunday event.

We look forward to hearing from you regarding Sunday the 25th of January.

thanks,

Tempting, tempting. Also tempting to switch to Sunday because of lighter traffic... But 70 people minimum isn't exactly "light" either...

70 at Buttonwillow is light. SV runs 4 groups. that's 18 cars per group. it is light on a long track like Buttonwillow. I've seen another organizer ran 33 cars last month.

posted in the thread for the other day... but, if there is interest in me coming up to photograph at a discounted rate... Please let me know so I can make arrangements to be open that day.

A few shots from other BW track days are in my port: http://www.johnremus.com/photography/automotive/

[QUOTE]
Greetings Drivers,

We still need 15-20 additional signups in order to commit to running Buttonwillow on Sunday the 25th. The latest we can make the decision is Tuesday evening.

Just to fill those of you in who missed the first email: we have tentatively booked Sunday the 25th at Buttonwillow Raceway, in addition to our sold out event on the 24th.
