Default Cage and Convert.

So what cage can be used witht he convertable top? I saw the safety21 7 point can't. But is there another company that makes a cage that will work with the convert. roof?

Zero chance of that happening with a softtop.

I think the 3 day old has not figured out that this forum is really all about racing and competition.

Dude try starting at the FAQ and search function.
FYI I think every cage that was listed other than TC Design are not race legal.
so for most that hang out here they will not know anything about them..

I think it is safe to say every car in this forum that has a cage is full custom for racing.

Crash you are right.

You CAN make a cage work with the factory softtop. It will NOT be SCCA legal and in my opinion it will not be made to the specifications for road racing. Unsafe. What is your purpose for the cage? You will need to cut the door skins and windows out.

The car is going to be for just racing. But it will be driven on the street for fun so I wanted to keep some of the interior. I have a Mazdaspeed3 for the daily stuff. I didn't know that the cages that fit with the soft top weren't scca legal. Thats why I'm here, trying to figure everything out.

well sounds like your here for the right reason...

there is no cage you can get in a box that is scca legal or that you can keep the interior and soft top with...

That I know of.
