Default Camera mounts for autoX

Anyone tried the Modifry windscreen camera mounts for autoX use?

I want to start taping all my runs but I don't like the idea of the suction cup ones and Modifry has 2 that bolt onto the stock windscreen.

and the low mount one.

I'm curious to know if anyone found any issues with this? Vibrations or anything.

I have it and for me it seems that as long as you don't have a big bulky camera, then it works great.

I use a small digital camera that takes great video and it works great for me.

Very OEM looking too which is nice.

Excellent. Thanks.

I was gonna use my Canon SD1000 camera which weighs less than 1 lb.

Should I go with the standard one or the low profile mount?

I would just go with the standard cause 1. if you have a camera on it, everyone can see it and 2. if you don't have a camera on it, you can just take off the little stand and you can hardly see it.

That's my opinion though.

I have the modifry double windscreen mount (1 for the camera, 1 for the MaxQData GPS reciever). The video on my facebook from the slush event a few weeks back came from the modifry mount.

Here's a copy of the above mentioned video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aACLkL71yuA

I've got the windscreen mount used with a Sony DCR-HC46. With the 0.6x widescreen lens it perfectly frames out the windshield and you can see the shifter and dash quite clearly. IMO the best camera angle available in that price range.
