Challenge Comp + Coilover Review
I just posted a review of these coilovers which I used for most of the past season in the Modifications and Parts sub-forum:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=742672
I thought I'd link it here as I think they are a good fit for some of the time trial/race classes (NASA TT and PT come to mind specifically), given that they are monotube and single adjustable.
Pricing is here.
For full disclosure, I've know Greg and GT Motoring for a couple of years now and get a break on some parts from them in exchange for coming to a couple of Redline events a year. It certainly factored into my decision when I was looking at suspension options at the beginning of the season, but the Challenge units really fit the bill for what I was looking for: to drop some time on my TTC car while taking minimal points. They have been flawless since I installed them.
If you guys have any track specific questions, feel free to ask them in this thread.

Yes, they let you order from the Hyperco catalog. I got 600 F / 700 R. I have a Saner front bar and my car had good balance with the stock springs. Those are about 100#s stiffer in the rear, so I tried to keep the same balance.
For NASA TT points reasons, I think I may try to go back to the stock front bar and up the front spring rate instead.

Dave - the Koni's are actually way too soft in compression. At full soft they basically match the 04 OEM damper right on the money. They do have a bit of high speed rebound though - which is probably what you felt in terms of "ride quality"
So these are a twin tube damper with a lot of cross talk (ie adjust comp and rebound at the same time). There is no way they are monotube because there just isn't enough room in the rear to fit a separator piston and the damper piston in the body of the damper while maintaining adequate bump travel.
Glad to hear they are working out for you! Not my bag but your results are enough proof for you.

how many points are these for TT?
Suspension:
25) Metallic replacement suspension bushings (Heim joints/spherical joints) +3 (except for pillow ball camber plate joints, sway bar end links already assessed points in 6) above, and contol arm spindle/knuckle joints already assessed
points in 7) above)
No points modifications:
43) Shock mount replacement/modification (only if already taking points for both shocks and springs)(may raise or lower mount location up to two (2) inches if no horizontal movement.)

Thanks for the insight on the Konis, too. I reworded that section so as to not spread misinformation.
