Default Coilovers?

What are the best coilovers for an AP1, that I daily drive but I am looking at tracking the car real soon. Money isn't too big of an issue but something affordable would be nice. A harsh ride does not bother me at all. Do most manufactures supply general setup guidlines or some sort of tech support with track setups? I am looking at also getting some wider tires front and rear and have already planned to cut or roll the fenders. I just would like some input on whats respectable and whats crap. Thanks!

I glanced thru the FAQ and didn't see much product analaysis but more discussion on theory and application. If I am looking in the wrong place could you direct me where this section of the FAQ is. I just wanted to know what is the best company for tech support and quality. I want something that will last. Sorry if I confused anyone.

GENERAL FAQ

Q Which is the best XXX?
A Save it. We don't offer product recommendations unless you have a very specific question about a specific product or application. The best is not specific enough to ask here so you should direct your question to the Under the Hood or similar forum.
You'll get a better response over there

If you plan to track your car, to get the best bang out of your money and the lowest lap times, I'd go with Moton 4 ways, or the new state of the art Ohlins. JRZ 3 ways are exceptional as well.

Well, I meant new as in the last year, Ohlin TTX's. MSRP's around $20K IIRC.
