Here is the link to my best run at the SCCA AutoX on June 16, 2013 Meadowlands. Trying to improve and wanted to see if any experienced veterans could give some advice, first time I actually recorded myself running.
I currently run in RTR. Thinking of getting a few mods like front sway bar and light rims/wider tires.
The setup of my car is basically all stock.
T1R 70mm exhaust
Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (stock dimensions for AP2) on stock AP2V1 rims
I ran 36.5 psi front tires and 37.5 psi rear tires
Harddog roll bar
Stock alignment settings

I think your biggest mistake was how you approached the sweeper/slalom combination at 0:54; it seemed like you were surprised by the elements. You braked too late on the entrance and took too much speed upon exiting the sweeper, sacrificing a clean entry into the slalom. Remember, if you can't seem to backside the 3rd cone in a slalom, that means the entrance into the 1st one didn't have enough angle. I would've taken the sweeper at a wider angle and rotated more around the exit cone, allowing myself the proper entrance into the slalom.
Then again, I could just be blowing smoke. In any case, glad to see you're out there learning the limits of the S

I think i saw you at the MSNE event the weekend before. i had the silver S2 with the blue hood lol
if you are gonna be in RTR you have to stay with stock spec wheels, cant go any wider. First thing i would do is get a proper alignment. i would try and give you feedback but im a noob myself =).

I only had time to watch it once but generally it looked pretty good. There were a few places where I felt you could have carried a little more speed, could have gotten on the throttle a bit earlier, or where you coasted or were constant throttle when you should have accelerated then braked for the next element. The last one (too much coasting) seemed the most common. But I didn't see any big glaring errors, it was just lots of little stuff. Your line looked generally good.
The biggest car changes you could get to improve your times, would be a big front bar and different tires. The pilot super sports are nice tires but they'll be a second or two behind something like a dunlop z2 or rival in the dry. They're awesome in the wet though.
The course looked fun. Usually I'm at the meadowlands events but I missed this one, we're taking a short autocrossing break. Hopefully will see you around.

It is amazing how the little things can add up to a lot of time left on course, isn't it? Agree with Jon as stated above. Need more aggression, less time coasting. Based on camera angle I *think* you could have carried a tighter line through some of those long sweepers and decrease the overall length of the course. Otherwise

Come and chat with me if you happen to see me at an NNJR event later this year. I'll be happy to go for an instructor run with you and provide some feedback.
