OK Lude - who's your cousin?
)I havent been to a race yet, so Im not sure where I'll be aloud to go, but will most likely get to roam around in the pits afterwards with my cousin. It would be cool to chat briefly with Jason S if I happen to run across him. Thats a heck of an accomplishment hes done!
Jason's good guy; BW great outfit. I highly recommend hanging with Seth for awhile. He's the best young driver I had known personally since Bruno Lambert (ended up winning LeMans). Guy is seriously talented.
Also since you're affiliated with BW, you know the reality that SCCA is always giving the Mazdas an advantage. Kudos to MazdaSpeed and FoMoCo for being the sole manufacturer to truely looby on behalf of their drivers and support them too - real support, not just featuring them in advertising.
BW is a supplier to us and we do recommend our North LA West Coast customers to use TriPoint so we have no axe to grind either way. Simply watch the Mazdas walk every other auto down any long straight in SWCT and you'll clearly see their advantage. This doesn't take awy anything from Jason's accomplishment in any way. Trust me, we all could be placed in GT cars at Rd America and the top T drivers would still beat us!
No reason why you shouldn't be able to be anywhere you want even during race day with them.. Given the nature of sprint racing, firesuits aren't used in the pits. With a little luck, they will lend you a headset to listen in on communication - that way, short of driving the car, you'll have the best seat in the house. Tell James and everybody I said Hi and will be praying for their success.
