It's part of the alignment process, really. But yeah, you would do the CW first.

The proper way is to align then cornerweight, go back to the alignment shop and fuk up your corner weights, then go back to the scales to fuk up your alignment. After three rounds you should be perfect

Here's my final corner balancing results. These weights are with the sway bars disconnected. I'm installing McMaster-Carr adjustable end links to remove the sway bar pre-load. Changing nothing except the disconnected end links changed my Cross Weight by -20lbs (or 10lbs for each of the 4 wheels).

This is with me (215lbs) in the seat:

This is with no driver or passenger:

This corner balancing thing is a lot of hard work but I'm finally ready for tomorow's F.A.T.T.

PS I re-weighed my girl friends stock 2006 S2000 after I removed the shipping spring spacers and drove it for a few days to settle the springs. I put the correct weights and ride heights in the first post of this thread.

Pantelis,

The center of gravity height affects handling, the lower the better. By measuring the CGH you can gauge the effect of weight changes such as removing the spare tire, adding a passenger, moving or adding ballast, or changing ride height.

I'm nowhere near the point where knowing my CG height would help my setup but it's kind of cool to know how to measure it.

I have posted a detailed description of the steps I went through to corner weight my S2000. I have screen shots of all eight adjustments I did during my quest for a well balanced S.

http://www.robrobinette.com/corner_weight.htm

I did a Summit Point F.A.T.T event last week and the S handled superbly. All the work I've done to the S's suspension has been worth it. I have to give props to all the guys on this forum for the recommendations and installation help with the PSS9 shocks, Comptech sway bar, bump steer kit, and McMaster-Carr end links. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and expertise.

I have updated the Corner Balance spreadsheet with new wedge and bite values, date and time stamp, and other minor updates. The latest spreadsheet can be found here: http://www.robrobinette.com/corner_weight.htm
