Thumbs down Could You Help Me Please

Hey guys

I have aa fully modified Turbo s2000 engine......... Only things stock in the engine are the crank and the cams..... Now here is the issue i am facing all my money went into the car and i forgot about the rubber I need to be able to put the power to the ground and i wanted to know if someone would lend or rent me a set of slicks or track tires on rims for a day??? I know it is a unusual request but i don't have the money for the work rims i want or the slicks right now . I will be happy to pay and only want to do 2 or 3 runs on them, Let me know thank you guys.

I don't think the track is going anywhere. Why don't you just wait until you can afford some drag radials and appropriate wheels?

I don't think anybody around here has any "slicks" anyway. I know my Kumho Victoracers wouldn't be all that great for drag launches because I do that all the time at the auto-xes and they spin pretty easily.

You need some real drag slicks and nobody really drags an S2000... that I know of.

Sorry to pee pee on your parade.

LOL you really did pee on it. I want to see what she can do soon and the rims i want are a little pricey, but still i agree with what you are saying. However you must know the feeling.

You'd probably get a better response posting in a San Diego-specific forum rather than the worldwide Racing and Competition forum.

Hmmmm...if you'd pull all that stereo out for a day and let me do a couple sessions at Willow Springs in that thing (before you blow up the diff) I might be interested...
