Default CSP help?

Let's say theoretically that I wanted to build a fairly cheap CSP car for regional and maybe divisional competition. Let's also say that I was going to use a CRX and probably a 1st generation.

What would I need to do to the car and how much should I budget above the cost of buying the car?

Wouldn't you save the most $$ by buying someone else's CSP ride? Of course I understand if you want to build your own.

This argument could go both ways. Buying someone elses car could be the cheaper way to do it but you may be buying someone elses problems. At least if you build one yourself you know what went into it.

Stacey DeSpelder's ride is a '86 CRX. That is THE csp car to copy if you are going to do it. I would check into the scca forums at www.sccaforums.com and see if you can't get in touch with him.
