Default cusco parts and auto x

so im trying to understand which parts to upgrade to for the next auto x season. right now im completly stock.

ive done lots of reading and ive read a little about the cusco THIS and it sounds good, espically for he price. what do you guys think?

but im wondering if i should go with the strut bars or a front lower brace. can i use strut bars and the 3 point brace with the THIS ?

next year i allready have wheels and r-comps picked out, im just looking to upgrade suspension without leaving BS.

thanks in advance

chassis braces won't really make much of a difference - and an x-brace will def. take you out of b-stock.

the auto-x faq has lots of great info - give it a read.

If you go with any type of chassis bracing you're gonna be in ASP.

And check your 2nd link, its the same as the 1st.

I don't think the 3pc subframe bars do much if anything, and that is my honest opinion that I tell everybody who asks. The principal works, but I just can't feel it on the butt dyno. I dunno if there is a way to figure out if that shit works, skid-pad?

listen to lig tho, what class are you running?

hehe... my dumb ass is in ASP (SCCA - running against C5 Vettes and 911GT2/3s ) and Improved A in the WWSCC series becuase of my x-brace / Buddy Club coilovers and cf intake.

If you are serious about autocrossing - and was starting with a stock car... I would stick to mods that keep you in B-Stock like R compounds, big front bar - aggressive alignment and quality shocks.

Good Luck!

All it does is add weight to slow you down.

With out leaving BS, you can get shocks and a front sway bar with OEM springs.

Well, without leaving BS means you can't use any of that stuff.

Auto-x faq is where it's at. Front bar, alignment and r-comps for starters.
