I have a few questions, now winter coming up I can start take it apart.
How did you secure the duct to the bumper?
Can you take some pictures from the back of the bumper?
Did you remove the hose for everyday use?
How about the pieces that attach to the dust shield behind rotors?

I didn't take any pictures of the brake duct shield. Here is the back of the bumper. I used a lot of plastic weld.

Here is a update on the brake ducts.

After installing these ducts I wanted to test out a theory of mine. I have always used xp10s carbotechs for my front brakes. The only thing I did not like about them was that I had to give more pressure to the petal to stop. I really like the feel of less aggressive pads like the hawks hp plus and project mu's HC Plus pads.

So I decide to use The HC plus this weekend at buttonwillow which has always been a rotor kill for me. The less aggressive pad never faded on me. And I was able to go a full 30 mins with out getting heavy fad and mussy petal feel.

Conclusion:

If you are going to be tracking you car with the stock brake system. Then you really will need cooling up front. As a benefit to better cooling up front the rear did not get to crazy high temps because the front pads never faded.

Is this when you're getting fade? I'm on XP8s & I don't feel the need to apply more pressure in order to stop. In fact, I think the brakes are more sensitive to inputs.

Thanks for the write up! Just wondering 1) if you have some kind of mesh to stop debris from getting in the tube & 2) where does the tube terminate (right behind the rotor)?

The air is directed to the eye of the rotor not the back. So and debri will not affect brakeing. And yes I do like the feel of the xp8 better but with out venting they will start to fade.
