I haven't yet but, I've been considering it. I have a "no tracking a car I'm making payments on" policy. If I WAS making payments, I'd consider it a requirement, 'cause you'll keep making payments even if you ball it up.
$100/day? Yipes.
Your collision insurance should cover any damage sustained at an HPDE. Call your agent for details. Not sure about aftermarket parts.
Also, that site states the minimum deductible is $1,500.

We (www.MVPTrackTime.com) insure our track car with WSIB Insurance (www.WSIBInsurance.com) annually.
I think, as noted in an earlier post(s), most car insurance companies are including language to the effect of "No coverage will be extended to any racing surface".
Feff

Many insurance companies have written clauses in that exclude coverage on 'any surface used for racing or competition', or words to similar effect. I think at this point, it is the exception, rather than the rule, that regular 'street' insurance would cover damage from an HPDE. I'd not rely on calling anyone and ask for written confirmation. I did a fair bit of research when I was looking for theft/vandalism insurance for my racecar.

I just spoke with my Allstate agent.
Apparently, they are excluding HPDEs in newer policies. Fortunately, my coverage for events was grandfathered in (I've been with Allstate for 20 years.)
Also found out, since my policy is so old, they can only cancel my policy if I get a DUI or don't pay my premiums, and they can't raise my rates for tickets.
