DL1 ordered
Thanks to jlucas I've ordered and should receive my DL1 in a few days. I'm really looking forward to getting it installed and trying it out at Mosport next Monday. Does anyone have any advice for me about the DL1 like where and how to mount it or tips on using it?

There are existing holes where the plastic trimming clips on that is in perfect distance when bolted with the supplied DL1 brackets. The surface seem flat enough with the floor pan for accurate readings (assuming the rake is factory). Also, accessibility is great and you have direct vision of the LED lights so you don't have to stumble to see if it's recording or not. Not sure it's for everyone but it never once hindered my ability shifting.

That's a pretty slick spot Raymund.
Erik, I'll email you a quick start sheet that I've created, it supplements the stuff that R-T sends with the unit. Also take a look at the 8 pg PDF of examples I have posted on the website (www.FastTechLimited.com). BTW, the help files that install with the software are very complete.
I'll be at VIR on the 3rd & 4th and I can't remember what cell phone reception is like at VIR but I'll have it with me if you have questions.
Tips (will make sense as your launch the software and load your data):
- say "yes" to the prompt to use the default screen layout until later down the road and you know the software well enough to change the default to your liking
- 90% of the time, I just let it do the automatic sector creation
- once the sectors are set up, I usually start by comparing sectors on the fastest lap were the sector time is not the fastest for the session overall to the fastest time in that sector.
- learn to use the time slip variable to identify where in the segment time is gained or lost, it takes away any guess work

In the video, looks like that RSX didn't hit a single apex . Mosport looks great though...lots of walls too .
