JP, got a question. elda is located in new york right? if so, i'm close enough to pick it up instead of shipping it. how long will the preorder price last? just waiting on my paycheck which comes next wednesday
Nishant,

Elda is actually in central Connecticut. They do have a shop there and I believe that you should be able pick the bar up there and save on shipping.

The price is good at least until the first run of bars is delivered from the manufacturer in mid-March.

I'm interested, but what kind of cutting of the interior pieces are needed? The plastic roll hoop covers? If so, if i ever wanted to return my car back to stock, does anyone know if these parts are cheap from the dealer?
There are a few plastic pieces that need to be cut. The roll hoop covers and the lower panels on the side of the body behind the seats also needs to be trimmed.

I don't have pricing on replacement pieces to bring the car back to stock at this time.

Any idea how long/large of a production run you're looking at here? I'm looking to get an S2000 as soon as I land a job for after I graduate, and the Elda bar will be a must have for me.

This is the best bar out there for our car, bar none. (short of a cage, of course)

It's the least invasive, (less cutting) the most versatile, (cross bar and diagonal brace easily remove when you leave the track) and made with first quality steel as a roll bar should. (the Crushco stuff may look pretty, but I wouldn't trust my noggin to one)

Everything Elda makes is of exceptional quality. Couple that with Go-Fast's super-service... you can't lose!

Many of us have been anxiously awaiting these becoming available again. JP and Rylan, thanks for putting this together.

Thanks for the info, Tod. It appears you have installed your seat rotated a little more vertical. Right now, the top of my seat touches the stock roll hoop, but I could probably tilt it forward to make it clear. Hopefully, that won't change my fit in the car too drastically. I'm in between you and your brothers, by the way -- my inseam is 35".

At any rate, I want a bar, and this seems to be the best one to get, so I just need to make it work. I think I'll put my order in.

Will my CC be charged now or at delivery?

I'm having some trouble completing the account info page. I get an error for must fill in required fields. They are all filled out. I don't have an existing go-fast labs account.

Are you putting your username in the S2KI membership ID# field? That's usually the most common problem with account creation. Either that or you're attempting to put an expired membership ID# in there.

The cards will be chargedat time of purchase. These are special order items before manufacturing is complete. After we have fulfilled the pre-orders then remaining orders will be filled from stock on hand and at that time the special order conditions no longer apply.

Thanks Ludedude. I was putting in my S2ki membership # from my original member card. I've renewed the membership sevral months ago, But no new card or #. I've left the field blank. There is an ( ' ) in my last name, a \ is added between the ( ' ) after submitting my account info.

My order has been placed.

OK.

If you renewed your membership, the # has changed. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=m...tion&CODE=index that link should contain all the information about your present and past memberships. Put your new number in there and it should work fine for future purchases. There's no member discount on the bars since our margins won't allow it presently so you haven't missed anything there.
