Default Elise on the Track!

Here's a link to my review of a Lotus Elise during a recent HPDE at Sebring. I thought some that frequent this forum may be interested in it.

That was a sharp looking car. I have to admit that I was a wee bit jealous! I can't decide if I liked the red one, or the yellow better.
Thanks again for your input on the lap timer...it worked well. I had a 2:49 a couple of times, and i see lots of room for improvement on the video!

What with the mods I have done to the S2000, I am not sure which would be more fun on the track for me. I am thinking the Elise would be better, but I'd like to test drive one to get a sense of that. If the Lotus doesn't impress, I'll save the money for a trailer or something, and if the price of a used Elise drops much, consider one then.

Half the people I have ever met at the track have made the same comment. I doubt the used price on the Elise is going to drop much. Seems like the demand is too high.

It took a few years for the price of used S2000s to get much below that of new ones. Given that there will be many fewer Elises kicking around than S2000s, I expect the same will be true for the Lotus.

Bummer.
