Default F1spec Seats....

Anybody track with these buckets? I am concerned with obvious safety and flex in the seats. Can anyone recommend a different seat for me. I do not want to spend more then $800, thats the limit. I am 5'10 155lbs and a 30 waist. Looking for a snug fit. Thanks for the help guys.

I have f1 spec seats. they were in the car for 6 easy going lapping events this year. They are crap though and fit in our cars terribly. I guess very few seats fit our car decently though

Recaro SPG would fit you perfectly. They can be found for less than $800. But then you'll need rails.

If you're bigger Recaro Pole Positions fit me well. 6' 200 lbs

I love how the mugen/spoon fits. I have only sat in the mugen seat and loved the snug fit. I think the spg was a little loose on me. Plus it rubbing against the door panel would get annoying.

I'm pretty sure the SPG has a tigher fit than the mugen

Try Sparco seats if you are on a tighter budget.

I am exactly the same size as you. 5'10" 155 31" waist. I use a Recaro SPG. Fits like a glove.

Cuonice how bad do they rub on the door panel? I do not want to mess up the fabric nor the panel.

Thanks

they don't get a lot of looks but all of momo's racing seats (not their tuner crap) are fia approved meaning they'll be a lot safer than any of that f1 stuff, plus the price is great.

which momo seat fits in the s2k the best? Do the wings hit the door panels?

if you had pictures that would be great!
