So we had another great Atlanta region points event yesterday. We finally had nice weather, unlike the previous few events.

My normal ride was out of comission so I decided to run my CR again. This was the third time I had driven it at autox. I ran in BS on my stock tires and was able to get down solidly into the 48's. Which wasn't quite as fast as Jadrice who was solidy in the 45's. It also took me a few runs (6) to get down into the 48's (I ran time only in the afternoon). I was also a little off the pace of the STR cars, but not by a huge amount.

I am going to get some more autox focused tires and run a square set up after I get married this summer and I think I should be able to get a litte more out of the car.

But I am starting to get the CR figured out a little more. It is a very different driving style but it is very, very rewarding, and more importantly fun.

Jadrice, sorry I didn't get a chance to talk with you again. I have some setup questions that I want to run by you, and also see what your thoughts are on some things.

I also was hoping to have you ride along and give me some pointers, although some of our region's very fast folks helped me out.

 

nice car! I want a blue cr so bad! Maybe after my hopfully upcoming job change I'll buy one and transfer all my parts from my ap1 to it and sell the ap1. Gotta pay cash though, I don't want any payments.
