First Day at a Track
GPS can be good and can be bad.
FWIW, I used one my first trip to Watkins Glen and loved it. Only problem was it was my cousin's and he left a day early and took it with him and I struggled pretty hard getting back to the highway. Its amazing how quickly you can get dependant on those things. (Disclaimer: I installed a JVC NX-5000 in my car so I really must say I'm pro GPS)

for HPDE is a hardtop ever considered an alternitive to a roll bar? I understand it will differ based on organization and track, but I'm wondering if this is ever the case for orgs/tracks that do require barr/broom stick test.

Hrad tops are not considered an alternative to a roll bar With comscc , If you want to run with SCDA you can run without any roll bar factory is ok with t hem . Commscc.org is a little more strict but has better prices. I would say run with scda1.com on april 19th ill be there and you will get a good idea of what you want to do as far as modding the car .
