I've ran 17x10 +62 6ULR wheels (w/spacers) on 275/40 tires w/ASM style fenders.

My setup is:
17x10 +55 Forgestar F14
255/40/17 Hankook RS3 V2
Ohlins DFVs with 700/600 Hypercos
J's Racing Lower Ball Joints
-3 Deg Camber
Fender rolled flat with slight pull
I think you could get away with no pull though.

The forgestar is an interesting choice, any chance you have a thread about them? I haven't heard of many people using them but the look pretty good. How much do yours weigh

I did not personally weigh them, but I believe they were weighed by Mod Bargains at 19 lbs.
This is exactly my original plan but I think I'm switching to the Evasive Advan RSII. They are very similar in weight but I much prefer the design of the RSII. totally personal opinion though
949 never made 17x10 +62...
They made +72 and +52. The new batch of 17x10 with the new spoke design is being made in 17x10 +52 only.
Are you guys running a 10mm spacer with the old 17x10 +72?
FWIW, I'm able to run the 17x10 +52 with a 255 up front. The rear's fit fine. I can easily fit a 255 in the rear with a standard flat roll and bumper tab relocate.
Up front is a flat roll with a a slight pull. I still have the crease/line in on my front fenders - it's not a full flaring for me.

I'm on 700 ft lbs Front / 600 ft lbs Rear.
I have about a finger and half gap or so - it's higher up than most S2k challenge cars - I want it to be more streetable and not really have to worry about driveways and what not.
