Default Front End Tow Strap

Hi,

I'm in the process of installing my sparco tow strap in the front. What mounting point should I use?

Is the method used in the pic below save to use?

Thanks

IMHO, in that location, there is less chance of your bumper cover (edit) getting messed up.

The strap will pull crooked and stress the bumper cover (edit) in the OE location.

I put mine on the strut tower bolt. I crashed into a wall and had two tow points at the time.
The one on the bumper beam was destroyed but the strut tower strap worked perfect for them to tow me out with.

I made the hole at the bottom of the bumper beam, may provide a little more stress relief to the bolt as the strap wraps around the beam. Sorry for the crappy pic

The bumper would be stressed less in the OE location as it's directly in line with the passenger frame rail. Mounting the tow strap away from that introduces a bending load to the bumper beam, hence stressing the bumper more. Whether that'll be a problem, I don't think so.

That tow strap metal piece will bend long before the bumper beam will.
