Default Front Lower A Arms

At last years Solo Nationals during impound, where everyone takes off wheels, someone pointed out damage to my a arm bushings. One competitor said he changes arms every year as routine maintenance. Bushings are not available separately.

This may be a well known issue, but I finally got around to changing them. Here's what I found. You can't tell from the pictures, but the tears go all the way through the bushing.

Has anyone tried the Mugen a-arm bushings?

The other day I was looking at this thread and saw that Spoon has a bushing set that was of interest to me. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=462348

My control arms with monoballs will be shipping from TC Designs late this week or early next. Nearly every suspension bushing was bad ... some of them ridiculously so. Engine mounts were also destroyed.

I too talked to TCD today about a monoball kit. I just need to find a time when I can remove all the suspension arms for 2-3 weeks

Those of you who are SCCA Stock-class autocrossers should note that aftermarket bushings aren't allowed, so a complete A-arm replacement would be the only way to go.

How about you autocrossers cut your track buddies a break and send your old a-arms to TCD so they can be recycled into monoball monsters for us?
