Default Front splitter?

I would like to have one on my car but can't find anybody that currently offers them. Also if you have one did you notice any improvements in cooling, front end stability or any other benefits that I'm not aware of?

If you're not sure what I want click HERE

I have one, and I love it, although I have no way to gauge if it is really doing its job. And for the record, the main reason I bought mine was to protect the bottom of the front clip in case I scraped...

Not my car!

Here is a pic of mine, keep in mind I had mine powdercoated glossy black to match my wheels so what you get will not have this finish, it will be a crinkle non-gloss black finish with an edge protector.

I have not really shot the splitter so this is the best I could find...

Just remember, the Coastal metal version will not have this level of gloss, I had mine powdercoated.

Looks nice, what material is that and approximate weight? I was ideally looking to go with cf but that has a nice price. Thanks!!

Again, remember, mine was powdercoated so my pics show it very glossy, the finish from Coastal Metals is a flat black and almost a crinkle finish, don't get me wrong it is very nice, just not glossy.

Don't know the weight, they ought to know though; I can tell ya it did not seem heavy. I think it is just a slab of aluminum. One thing for sure, it is a nice piece!

My splitter is actually made from APR. Peter custom made it for me using a template I provided of the 04 OEM lip.

As for weight, it's very light......it's Carbon Fiber! It's bolted from underneath and then the support rods upfront so it's very sturdy. Never rattles or comes loose. Best of all because it's carbon it flexes and can take a beating and still come back to it's original shape.

It's quality is top notch and the carbon is beautiful. You can definately tell at high speeds the stability it provides as less air is allowed under the front end of the car.

As for cornering and twisties I think it helps more than if it wasn't there.... I've considered canards but don't want to go over the top.
