Default Front splitter options and mounting

I tracked my car recently with a new APR GTC 300 wing and the understeer is very high. It is very hard to make the car oversteer and have better turn in. I was stiffening the rear with my adjustable shocks to try to help. I believe I need the more front aero to balance out the rear wing and was looking for front splitter options and mounting. I saw many people use to get the WASP front splitter but it seems the business isn't active anymore.

Anyone have recommendations for front splitters and kits for mounting if there are any? It seems you just have to buy one and mount it yourself with local hardware, don't see any complete kits.

I believe TogueFactory on here just recently started making splitters, I'm sure Devin will post up more info. Also S~Factor on here makes aluminum splitters, that's what I'm currently running along with WASP hardware. Lastly DevSport also makes decent splitter hardware if you want to make your own splitter (Alumalite or plywood seem to be popular).

Look up how speed academy mounted their splitter to badass2000. I plan on making a frame similar to that then making a splitter out of ply.

Isn't maple the wood of choice?

Birch is.

I used 1/2" birch available at your local Lowes or Home Depot for around $30 and you can make two splitters. I mounted mine the same way Wasp does and used some really nice front splitter rods from Fully Torqued Racing.

I have the Wasp front splitter for my car... if you need pictures of the hardware I can post some pictures of my splitter installed.

I'm honestly not surprised they're out of business.

It is often a curse--there are people who have a great product or service but are really bad at the business and customer service side of things. I see it all the time with tuner shops.....
Some of the bigger shops like AMS in Chicago have figured out the business side too and are able to mesh the 2 together to great effect.

Thanks for comment. I would like the pictures if possible of the WASP hardware used, so I can possibly scavenge my own parts later. Yea I was going to buy the WASP own but didn't realize they were out of business, since I also used their brake ducting kit which works well.
