Default Fuel Cell/Fuel Line Question

I have been working on putting in a 10 gallon RCI fuel cell for autocross FP. I have removed the old tank and evap stuff.
The RCI tank has -8AN fittings and I want to adapt to the stock fuel lines instead of having to run AN line all the way to the front of the car.

I see the fuel feed line is about 5/16" tubing, so I bought an 5/16 quick connect to -6AN adapter. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/aei-15117

My problem is what to do with the return line. It appears to be about 1/4" tubing. Is there a quick connect adapter to go from 1/4 to 5/16 or some way to get to -AN?
Has anyone done this before?

The car is AP1.

This may work. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rus-641303

I am not sure though, it uses a different type of lock from the standard nylon clip.

I'll look at my invoices when I get home, but I know that I bought several sizes of those adapters and nothing fit the return line. I ended up cutting off the connector, buying a flare tool and flaring the line for an AN fitting. Again, I'll have to check, but I think it ended up being a -3 flare, which I then connected a -3 to -4 reducer coupling, and I ran -4 line back to the cell (which required a -8 to -4 reducer at the cell.

Yes, I have.

I just slipped the the braided SS line over the factory hard line and used 2 hose clamps. No leaks and no fuel smell. Been setup that way for years now without a problem.

Thanks for the responses. I am waiting on an adapter to come in that might work. If not I will try the flaring option next.
