Yes, and the solution is to drive with enough fuel to prevent starvation. Or to buy a fuel cell.

Sorry, but that's all there is to it.

Or install a second fuel pump, pulling from the other side of the tank.

Not like this would be the easy solution, of course.

I am considering purchasing a 2nd fuel tank, working on it outside the car, and trying a 2nd fuel pump. I believe the RX8s have a similar problem with their saddle tanks.

Wow!
I've never seen this problem with my car, or my fellow S trackers. We do usually run below 1/2 tank.
Hey, not saying it doesn't happen, because obviously it is happening to your S. Please keep us posted as to what you find to be the problem and solution.
I do know that with R/C gas airplanes, we put in a flexible sump. Is there a way to make the S gas feed flexible to where the feed follows the bottom of the G-force?

It depends on the corner, the grip level of the car, and perhaps even on the installation of the fuel pickup in a given car.

But this is a known issue.

Hmmm.
Anyone working on a solution?

I gotta say again that with my '04, that I've NEVER experienced this problem and believe me... I've done some massivly twisty tracks. Aside from that...

It would appear that if your car is experiencing fuel starvation during long turns that the fuel container needs to be reshaped to more an eliptical bottom and that the fuel sump should be more flexible to follow the fluid.
