Default Functional Rear Wing of Composite Material

Hello all,

I am looking for a rear wing of a composite material. I am currently in LA - California, but I need one that will be compliant with regulations in Korea as I will be shipping it there in a month. Korean transport regulation requires that rear spoiler, if installed, is a composite material to protect the pedestrian in an event of a collision. It also cannnot be wider than the width of the vehicle.

I know that CR wing is one that is a composite material that fits the bill, but is there any alternative choices?

I'd like to go on Auto Club Speedway this weekend, but I'd like some rear downforce before I hit the track. (Or am I just a puss?)

It's not needed... although all of the fastest guys use aero. I don't know what the fastest non-aero street-classed S2000 is at ACS, but I'm guessing it's in the 55-56 range. Best I could do with no aero and being too scared to stay flat around the oval was a 57. :/

Aero is definitely not needed at ACS. A no-aero s2000 has no issues with staying flat through the entire banking. Aero is faster and you can take a different line, but is not needed.

Thanks for the replies guys. I won't sweat it then

Bit off-topic:
Guys who've been to the track-- do you know how hard that track is on the brakes? (135 to 40mph..?) I've been fine on Streets of Willow, CW, at 1:30.1 with only DTC-60 front pads and stock rear pads without any vents. Car is stock everything except for the pads.

Also, is the wear on the outer rear tires from the roval very drastic?

That track eats pads.

There are 3 to 4 spots where you are braking from 100+ down to a 180 degree turn or a chicane. Last year I used half of my front XP10's.

Dtc 60s are fine, just as long as you have 2/3rd or more of pad left.
Your stock rears won't make it, and you're likely to chew them down to the backing plate.

Streets cw is relatively mellow by comparison. Ccw is much harder on brakes than cw.

There isn't really much else that can compare as far as how hard the track is on brakes - easily one of the toughest west coast tracks on brakes, maybe only Laguna Seca can compare, but acs might still be tougher...

I ran a 58 with f'ed up rivals, blowing the braking zone/ turn in to turn 3 and loosing at least 0.5sec blowing turn 5.
