The Wikipedia article defines "American Gymkhana", even though there has only been one event, ever, that fits the definition. There might be a little bit of shameless self-promotion going on...

GymkhanaUSA had an event in El Toro this past summer. 78 drivers and 1800 spectators!!

Link below shows the course.....I was going to post the actual picture, but the jpg was pretty large Edit - - OPPS.....that is the one that was posted above.

this event was fun, but no different that a JDM version of prosolo. Fastest way around the track was grip, not drift. I had fastest time of the day by almost 3 seconds. Organization stunk. They got some people's times wrong (andy hope) and gave away the best prizes to the lowest classes. So that when it came time to give things to the unlimited class winners, there was practically nothing left...

But it was fun. Just nothing we haven't seen here before...
