H&R Wheel spacers
Anyone using them?
I have the set and decided to leave the factory studs in place. Mistake. After a couple of 15 minute sessions at the local track broke two of them trying to change wheel.
The factory nuts go +/- 9 turns while these go 5-6 turns with the factory studs.
I'm instaling all the new studs that came with the spacers (longer).
Anyone knows if these will still work without the spacers or the nuts will top out? Any open nuts that I could use?

We use, 'em Pepe... and I'm surprised that you had a problem. I would think that 5/6 turns should be plenty. Regardless, road racing creates much more stress than the autocrossing we do.
It's a good thing you had the problem in the pits, not on the track. You sure they weren't just cross-threaded? Definitely install the longer studs, and then buy some open lug-nuts. Any auto parts store should have them... 12mm x fine pitch? Not sure, but you could bring a stud to compare. Or call TireRack... they have 'em.
Good luck!

Could be related? Combine an inferior part with extra stress of the spacer, and whammo... Failure. Regardless, replacing your studs with the ones in the kit will solve that.
I'm not sure of any place to get them online, other than the TireRack... I'm sure there are. But the ones carried locally should suffice. Maybe a racing supply shop would have some higher-strength ones, but I doubt it... lug nuts are one thing that has to be tough no matter what. Just bring an old one and an old stud to the store, and make sure that the thread works and the taper on the nuts are the same. They should have specific ones for a Honda as well. Maybe someone else knows of a place online to get stuff like that?

I ran mine this past weekend with the spacers front and rear and didn't have a problem.
Jason-
Do you think were ok longterm without the longer studs due to the difference in severity of conditons from AutoX to Track?

Does anyone of you, guys, know what I should do to change the stock studs with the H&R studs?
I disassembled one of the rear wheel and its brake disc but after that I realized there wasn't enough space behind the studs to let them get out their place, I think that the only way to change the stock studs is to disassemble the hub, first from the suspension, then, using a press, from the hub bearing.
It is right or there is another more simple way to do it?
Also because, using a press, you can damage the bearing, and all that hard work for each of the 4 wheels!!!! Please tell me that this is the wrong way to change the studs!!!!
