Default Hard Dog Experience

Just received my roll bar from Hard Dog. They provided excellent service. They are on the money as far as timing. Told me 2 weeks and it was 2 weeks. Packaging and the quality of the roll bar is bar none.

Thought I would share my experience!

I met Tom Beroth in person when I picked up my roll bar and both him and his shop were very nice I am not sure if he offered it to you or not, but the custom formed high density padding he sells for the Miata bars also fits very nicely to the S2000 bars. I picked up some of that while I was there as well

My installation took for-freaking-EVER! But that's the fault of the S (all those interior bits, DAYUM). The bar fit TIGHT, but no problems whatsoever. Looks great, fits great, even with the big dumb soft padding I've got zip-tied on it now (was worried about the 2" rule at Mon/Tue track event), it is INVISIBLE from the drivers viewpoint. Invisible to all with the top up. It came with the denser lower-profile padding, looks like it'll fit very well and look great.

Totally happy with this bar. Hope I never have to USE it!

I got it with the removable harness bar and no diagonal. Diagonal is not required with the club I do time trials with, and I didn't really like the looks of the welded on tang sticking down from the main hoop for the "removable diagonal" configuration.
