for those of you not in Miata world.
driver was wearing race suit and glove. intermediate group.
race seat/harness/roll bar
hard top was latched on in the front. no side plate. Miata rear just hooks in. no latch.
driver is okay.

what does race suit and gloves have to do with it?

I'm sure having it bolted on would have helped the roll bar not sink into the mud and have his head take so many hits.

Glad he's ok.

holy shit I need to finish my cage. Right now my 4 point is way over built but i would love a real 6 point . Next year it will be done , but for now I will ride what I got . What do you guys think about 4 point roll bars how good do they work in a roll over ? I dont want to test mine out...

Yep, good argument for a halo seat and/or a right-side net. A HANS wouldn't do anything to prevent the side-to-side head movement, though.

Wow. That video show how important it is to have a a seat with head restraints to keep your head from moving side to side and a hans to keep your head from moving forward.

I think his head moved just about every direction!
