Default Harness? Brand, Type

I have been looking at 6 point harness. The SCHROTH Hybrid II/III are looking really good. If anyone has any comments on them, that would be great. I am not stuck on any vendor, so anytihng anyone has is welcome.

2" vers 3" lap belts?
2" vers 3" shoulder belt w/HANS?

I am considering a HANS, but not yet as all of my driving will be DEs. If I was buying HANS today, I would buy the 2" belts. But I want to know about other HANS users with 3" belts. Fitment? Would you perfer a 2" instead of your 3" belt?

Thanks

I have a question too...can you run these with aftermarket seats without a roll bar?

get a hans, hpde or racing is your neck, head and being alive worth less than $850 to you? Everyone should have one.

That being said I MUCH prefer the 2" schroth over the 3" with my hans, it just stays on the hans better.

As for where to get, HMS motorsports is the only place I'd give my bussiness too.

They'll also give you a good sized discount on your belts if you buy it w/ your HANS.

krazik

What schroth belts are you running? 2" or 3" lap belt?

Thanks, a discount may help push me over the edge on the HANS.

You need a harness bar to install them right (so they work right) Becasue the S has no place to mount just a harness bar, a roll bar is your only option.

FWIW I just bought the 2" lap belts, but I haven't used them yet. Everyone I have taled to says they are better than the 3" belts.

Get those puppies installed already!

Can't go wrong with Schroth, you will not be disappointed.

Agreed.

My Schroth harness has the 3" shoulder, 2" lap arrangement. Makes the lap belt much easier to cinch tight and it lays in a better place.
