Default Has anyone broke a Comptech Diff housing?

I'm, asking this because I'm not sure where exactly the weak link is. Is it the housing? Or the diff itself?

I have a MY03 which I drive daily. And a couple times per year I like to head up to my local drag strip. I know, I know, this not a drag car... please save your comments. I'm not asking weather this car is meant to be dragged or not. I

Thanks for all the quick resposes guys. You've all been so much help. Honestly, I don't know what I would do without all the info and feedback I receive here. Thanks!

Perhaps if you posted in the F&F forum (UTH), you'd get more posts than in the racing forum. Just an idea. Happy to help!

Why? Is drag racing no longer consider racing. This forum is becoming more elitist every day.

F&F forum? As in fast and Furious? I don't get what your saying man. I need to post on a Fast and Furious Forum in order to received information on the failure rate and owners experience with the S2000 differential assembly under race conditions?

Dude, chill. You only waited 21 hours. This forum doesn't get nearly the traffic the S2000 Talk or UTH gets, and it sound like you already knew that most of the people who do come here don't drag their cars.

In terms of elitism, we're no Corner-Carvers.com, but you can bet the best way to ensure you don't get a response is to be a smartass.

It all depends on attitude. I had no problem with his first post. I thought it would get more response in UTH, but did not feel it was inappropriate for the forum. The second post made it clear this guy was a sarcastic, demanding jerk.

Sometimes there's just no answer to a question if noone has tried what you asked.

Dude, you simply need to learn patience. Posting here doesn't guarantee you a response within a certain amount of time. I've posted numerous threads and got no response.
