Default Hawk HT-10 or Carbotech XP10

I have been using Hawk HT-10 but recently I noticed brake fade after repeated use on several track events.
I swap stock pads with HT-10 before I go to the HPDE.

Here are pictures of HT-10 pads after 3 track events.
May be this is normal because of the repeated use but want to get opinion whether XP10 can perform better.

There is sign of crumble at the edge and cracking.

Thanks

I've never run the HT-10's but my carbotechs never looked like that.
The XP8's had a couple of cracks and looked like they might have compressed
a bit due to getting too hot but they didn't crumble. The XP10's looked like
they were in their heat range and didn't deform like the 8's did and they didn't
crack like the eights either.

Maybe they didn't bed in properly?

^ hahaha you love those pads now
I used to run performance friction pads on the bike.
I'll have to try them in the S since they were great on the bike.

I've loved them since I first drove on them in the PTG M3 GTR back in 2004. And since then on everything from a Koni Challenge: Mustang, 997 Porsche, BMW M-Coupe, Mustang Challenge, the FXMD Unlimited Time Attack NSX, and more...

They are a championship winning product for a reason. Let me know if you need a pair.

Expensive pads. They are a sponsor of the Koni Challenge series. I wish they offered contingency/support to amatuer drivers. I'll stick with my Carbotechs, but I can't imagine one would be disappointed with anything from PFB; except perhaps the heft of their wallet.

Thanks.
It is $217 , $32 more than $185 XP12.
However, it is the 97 compound not 01 compound nthat Billj747 recommends.

it is a good pads. but brake dust is corrosive.

that's what I used to run, I am now on Carbotech. I wouldn't mind running PFC01 if it is on 100% track car.

I am surprised it is more expensive. I remembered it being much cheaper. PFC97 is cheaper than PFC01
